Send us your faulty equipment

If you have an item of equipment such as a portable device, appliance or something which can be posted then consider sending it to us for an inspection rather than just throwing it away.

Here is a simple 3 step guide explaining how the process works:-

Step 1: Call +44 (0) 1386 555 630 for a chat about the problem - sometimes problems can be fixed over the telephone!

Step 2: Send the faulty item to us

Step 3: Sit back and relax while we diagnose and fix the problem.

Consider a call out

Obviously, if the item is too large, too heavy or if it makes up part of a larger system which cannot be posted then we can arrange for our Engineer to visit you to fix the problem at your premises.

We recommend that if the faulty item can be easily replaced for less than £200 then a call out may not be cost effective - if you are not sure, simply call us to discuss the details and we will help you decide if this is the best option.

Prices

If you are able to deliver the item to us at Pershore, Worcestershire, UK, we will investigate the problem and repair it from £49.

Alternatively, you can arrange for one of our Engineers to visit you from £99.

In cases where we believe the repair may exceed these prices, we will advise you of the likely cost beforehand.

There are no hidden charges and you stay in control of costs throughout the diagnosis and repair process.

Why Bother?

Most electrical and mechanical items can be repaired and often the benefit is underestimated and seen as being not worth the trouble.

Of course, it depends on the item but many faults can be easily repaired which can save you time and money in the long run. For example, the cost and effort spent in finding, purchasing, and familiarisating (re-training) that goes with replacing a device is often overlooked.

Obsolecence

There are occasions where simply replacing an faulty item which is now obsolete can have knock-on implications. For example, replacing an item may lead to the need to buy new tools, fittings or attachments which will only work with the new device and are not backwards compatible. The new device may also not be as well constructed as the original device and may in fact have a relatively short life span.

We recommend that a small investment of £49 or £99 is worth it!

Some items require very specialist knowledge and where this applies we will advise you and help put you in touch with the right experts.

For all other cases, we have a range of in-house experts at your disposal who are qualified in electronics & control systems, electrical circuits, mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics and computer technology and software.

All repairs have a 3 month warranty and any new parts suplied have a 12 month manufacturer's warranty.

As Engineers, we understand the principles of electro-mechanical devices and thanks to the laws of physics, these principles remain true whether applied to a simple domestic appliance or a state-of-the-art industrial CNC machining centre.
