MACHINE NAME: Orbitform Model B-750 with Articulating Rollerform Head
CHALLENGE: This application presented a unique challenge - clesign a roller head that could form a lip below a larger upper flange while holding the flanged component in the correct orientation.
KEY TO SUCCESS: The key for this application was the gripping action of the articulating roller head, allowing the rollers to extend past the flange and then actuate in to complete the forming process.

MACHINE NAME: Orbitform B-500 with Rollerform head, auto slide, light curtain
CHALLENGE: Design rollerhead to compress and form material in two directions on the inside and outside of lexan site gauge.
KEY TO SUCCESS: Orbitform designed a custom Rolleforming head with twin rollers to form the casting lips, securing the parts for strength and appearance. This machine was a repeat order from 8 years ago, satisfying our customer's volume requirement increase. Machine includes a custom pressure pad to secure the components during the forming process.
