Brake Shoe Riveting Machines

In 2009, Northwick acquired Tower Riveting Machines and not only brought Tower home to Worcestershire but also re-established the Tower name alongside that of it's parent Milford.

These popular machines are once again available to order in new or refurbished condition. They are tailored specifically for the brake and clutch relining industry and can be tooled to suit 4mm to 8mm rivets.

The 738 machine (pictured right) is a heavy duty riveting machine suitable for 1/4" and 8mm brake relining applications and is supplied complete with tools and safety system.

Other machines in the range include the popular 410 model for 6mm rivets and the 256 model for 4mm clutch relining.
Long History

Tower Riveting Machines were originally manufactured in Worcestershire, UK under license from Milford Fastening Systems in USA.

Tower and Milford machines shared a range of common machine platforms and many parts were identical. Whilst some changes were made to the Tower machines for the UK and European markets, the majority of spare parts and tooling were fully interchangeable.

That commonality has continued to the present day.

Spare Tools

With the takeover by Northwick, Tower customers are now able to source new,
OEM parts and tools for their machines directly from Northwick's UK manufacturing site in Pershore, Worcestershire.

The inventory at Pershore now includes a complete selection of the most commonly used spares such as clutches, pivots, spacers, jaws springs, slide springs, con rods, cranks, head blocks, bearings, toggle links, pins, electrical parts, solenoids and guarding.

A complete inventory of parts is also available ex-stock from Orbitform in USA giving full coverage for all machine parts.

And there is a full 3D CAD technical database and application library available via an online portal (www.orbitform.com).

Northwick have also restored individual machine records and tooling details giving full machine history which can be cross referenced to the Tower machines' serial numbers.
